在宅翻訳（英←→日）キプロスに日本人アーティストを招待するイベントプロジェクトスタッフ募集

2019年にキプロスに日本の舞踏家を招待し、上演やワークショップを通じて現地の方に舞踏芸術を紹介するプロジェクトが現在進行中です。
その実現に向け、日本とキプロス間の連絡を、主にメールにて仲介してくださる方を募集しています。

主催者のRooftop Theatre Groupは非営利組織のため、ボランティアでご協力いただくことになりますが、アート学生の方、翻訳・通訳者やイベントコーディネイターを目指す方にとって貴重な職業体験となることは間違いありません。
また、将来CVに記載できるよう、紹介状もご用意させていただきます。

Volunteer Translator - Internship (remote)

We are a theatre company in Cyprus seeking help with ongoing translations related to the organising a Japanese culture festival in Cyprus, in 2019. The theme is based on Butoh mainly.

If you are a student studying to become a translator or you aspire to get a job as a cultural officer or project manager in Japan or Europe, this is the job for you. Your English language skills must be excellent and you need to be punctual and organised. We will provide you with reference letters and you can put this on your CV as job experience.

The work is remote and it will involve mainly translation of emails and on some occasions some word documents. There will be Skype meetings with us in English on rare occasions. The work will occur at the busiest of times: translating email communication two to three times a week. In 2019 there will be an opportunity to visit Cyprus and be a translator on one of the activities. The terms and conditions for that will be negotiated at a later stage as the project is still at its very early stages. This is a continuation of a first phase of the project that took place in December 2017.

Your commitment is expected to last for 3 months minimum starting as soon as possible and in 2019, an opportunity will come up to work during the Festival here in Cyprus.
