日本では義務教育の制度が整備され、当たり前に小中学校で教育を受けることができます。しかし、世界では5歳から17歳までの子どもの5人に1人が、労働を強いられている事実があるのをご存知ですか？
また、女性や移民も含むすべての労働者の権利を保護することも大切な課題として挙げられており、日本は世界的に見てもジェンダー格差が大きい国です。

各国では子どもの貧困や男女格差は実際に起きているのでしょうか？また、そこには文化・歴史・社会・宗教はどう影響しているのでしょうか？

この国際交流イベントは、アレックスソリューションズが主催するグローバル人材育成プログラム「GOAL」の第18回発表会として行われます。
今回は研修生として高校生～社会人の8名が、SDGsの目標8「働きがいも経済成長も」における日本・シンガポール・スリランカ各国の子どもの貧困、働く上での男女格差について調べディスカッションしてきました。

当日はその学びの集大成を英語のプレゼンにて発表します！発表後にはみなさんでディスカッションする時間もありますのでお楽しみに。

＊「GOAL」とは、日本人研修生がSDGsに関連するテーマを毎回ひとつ選び、主催会社の拠点がある、シンガポール・スリランカの現地サポーターと一緒に英語でディスカッションしていく短期オンラインプログラムです。世界視野で社会問題を捉え、異文化も理解していきます。このプログラムを通して、世界で通用する能力を身に付けませんか？

In Japan, the compulsory education system is well-established, and it is common for children to receive education in elementary and junior high school. However, in impoverished countries around the world, one out of every five children aged 5 to 17 is forced into labor.
Furthermore, protecting the rights of all workers, including women and immigrants, is also an important issue, and Japan is recognized globally as a country with significant gender disparities.

Do child labor and gender disparities actually occur in each country? And how do culture, history, society, and religion influence them?

We invite you to the 18th presentation event of the global training program “GOAL” organized by Alexsolutions.

This time, 8 trainees, ranging from high school students to employees, spent four days discussing the theme of SDG Goal 8: “Decent Work and Economic Growth” with supporters from Singapore and Sri Lanka.

*GOAL is an online global training program provided by Alexsolutions. The trainees select one of the themes related to SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). They research and discuss it with supporters from Alexsolutions-related companies based in Singapore and Sri Lanka.
